Who we are
This website is for C&R Moving, a moving company based in Sevierville, Tennessee ("C&R", "we", "us"). The site is built and run for C&R by Salt Services LLC, a Tennessee web and marketing company. In short: we collect what you type into the quote form so we can give you a moving quote, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.
Information you give us
When you request a quote we collect what you enter: the kind of move, where you're moving from and to, the move date, how much you're moving, your name, phone number, email address, any notes, and whether you agreed to receive text messages. We use it to contact you about your move, prepare a quote, and schedule and carry out the job.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our host records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the time of the visit. If you arrive from an ad or a link with tracking codes (for example a Google Ads click ID or "utm" campaign tags), the quote form passes those codes along with your request so we can tell which ads bring in customers. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies on this site.
Text messages (SMS)
If you tick the box on the quote form, you agree to receive text messages from C&R Moving about your quote and your move. Agreeing is not a condition of getting a quote or booking a move.
Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to answer your request and run the business:
- With C&R Moving's owner and crew, who quote and carry out your move.
- With Salt Services LLC, which runs this website and the customer management system that receives quote requests and sends the email notifications about them.
- With service providers that host the site and deliver email and text messages for us, under their own confidentiality and security terms.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers, crew or the public.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising cookies. The quote form keeps any ad-tracking codes in your browser's session storage for the length of your visit, and they are cleared when you close the tab.
How long we keep it, and how we protect it
We keep quote requests and customer records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our business and legal obligations, then delete them. We use reasonable safeguards to protect what you send us, but no website or system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or tell us to stop contacting you, by calling (865) 446-1551 or emailing crmovingcrew@gmail.com. We'll honor the request wherever you live. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message.
Links to other sites
This site links to other websites, such as Google Maps and Facebook. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
