Movers in Pigeon Forge and Wears Valley

A few miles up the road from our Sevierville base. Houses, apartments, cabins and rental furniture, planned around the Parkway.

Pigeon Forge moves, from just down the road

C&R is based in Sevierville, so Pigeon Forge is one of the shortest drives the truck makes. Most of the jobs here fall into three groups: families and workers moving in or out of houses and apartments off the main roads, cabin moves out toward Wears Valley, and rental cabins that need furniture brought in or hauled out between guests.

Getting around the Parkway

The Parkway is the fastest way through town on a Tuesday morning in January and the slowest in July. On busy days we stay off it where we can, using Veterans Boulevard and Teaster Lane to get to the side streets, and we book Pigeon Forge moves early in the day when the traffic is lightest.

Car show weekends are the ones to avoid. When the spring and fall Rod Runs are in town, the Parkway can sit still for hours. If your dates are flexible, tell us and we'll steer you away from them.

Cabins out Wears Valley Road

Cabins between Pigeon Forge and Wears Valley often sit up gravel drives or on a slope with the front door a flight of outdoor steps above the parking pad. Before the day, we'll ask whether a box truck can get to the top and turn around, how steep the last stretch is, and how many steps there are to the door. If the truck can't get close, the longer carry goes into the quote up front so it isn't a surprise.

Furnishing and clearing out rental cabins

Pigeon Forge has a lot of nightly rental cabins, and owners and managers need furniture moved as often as homeowners do. We bring in new beds, couches and dining sets before a cabin's first booking, carry worn pieces out between guests, and take the old furniture away on the same trip with junk removal. Give us the check-out and check-in times and we'll work inside them.

“Excellent moving company. They were prompt and took great care with our personal belongings. Treated our belongings and property with respect too, didn’t scratch a thing in our home or anything that was moved.”

Pigeon Forge moving questions

How far is Pigeon Forge from you?

Only a few miles. C&R is based in Sevierville, next door to Pigeon Forge, so moves here are local moves for us and there's no long drive built into the price.

Can you furnish a rental cabin before the first guests arrive?

Yes. We move furniture into rental cabins, set up the beds, and haul away packaging and any old pieces on the same trip. Tell us when the cabin has to be ready and we'll schedule backwards from that.

Should I avoid moving during a Pigeon Forge car show?

If you can, yes. The spring and fall Rod Run weekends bring heavy traffic to the Parkway. We can still move you, but an early start or a different weekend makes the day shorter and cheaper.

Do you move cabins in Wears Valley?

Yes. Wears Valley cabins are regular work for us. Tell us about the driveway and the steps to the door when you ask for a quote.
